Le carnaval d'Annecy se déroule le week end qui suit Mardi Gras. Du fait de son surnom de la "Venise des Alpes", l'ensemble des figurants sont vêtus de leur plus beau costume et de leur plus beau masque. Chacun défile au grè de leur envie, se regroupant ici, posant pour les photographes là .
